About the event

Bonfire and Bookstore! Bring Some Books....Buy Some Books A Firepit Social and Fundraiser for Singlefaith.

Bring a chair. Bring a flashlight. Bring a snack/dessert to share at the campfire.

Location:  Mt Airy Meetinghouse

7101 Watersville Rd · Mount Airy, MD

BRING YOUR OWN DINNER - bring your own dinner and non-alcoholic beverage from home or take-out from a restaurant. There is a microwave available inside the meetinghouse. Eat inside the meetinghouse or outside on the lawn.

COST: a $10.00 cash donation is requested OR a donation of at least 5 "sellable" book-music-media items - see below.

Cash donations will go toward improvements to the Mt Airy property as we continue to use it in the future. Singlefaith makes a donation to Mt Airy Meetinghouse for use of their electric/water/heat, etc. Firewood is purchased by Singlefaith using donations.

BOOKS - MUSIC - MEDIA -- Donations we are looking for: Good quality, gently used BOOKS, CDs and DVDs. Titles by Christian authors/topics especially preferred but will accept other Books/CDs/DVDs also.

Please do not donate items in a condition that you would not want to purchase yourself.

If you have questions, contact Michelle at info@singlefaith.org

BOOKSTORE FUNDRAISER for Singlefaith: If you were at the December retreat, a book sales fundraiser went well.

Singlefaith is a 501c3 non-profit public charity and we would like to re-sell donated books to raise money to offset future event expenses.

Most items will be priced at $5.00 each.

Things to know:

Cash is preferred because there are no transaction fees, however Singlefaith can accept Zelle, PayPal and Visa/Mastercard.

If you don't want to bring dinner and want to eat before you arrive, that is okay too. Arrive anytime, however we will put out the fire by 9:30 PM.

Bottled water and ingredients to make S'mores will be provided by Singlefaith.

Music provided by DJ Charlie Hall's "smaller" sound system.

Keeping the Fire Going will be: Steve Bridge

Restrooms will be available inside the meetinghouse building.

Books, Music and Media donated to Singlefaith will be re-sold as a fundraiser for Singlefaith. If Singlefaith determines donated items cannot be sold, they may be re-donated to a local charity such as AmVets, Purple Heart or Salvation Army or a local Church's thrift store.
