Singlefaith Is Going Camping!   Memorial Day Weekend 2022!

Westmoreland State Park in Montross, Virginia, a beautiful campground on the Potomac River.  There are stunning views of the river.  Fishing is available and kayak rentals are available.  Miles of trails and a lot of historical sites to visit in the surrounding area.

Plan to bring your own camping equipment and also your own food.  

There will be some shared equipment made available by others going on the trip.

Tent camping - 3 nights - Arrive: Friday 5/27/2022, Depart: Monday 5/30/2022

There is potential for a Thursday 5/26/2022 arrival for an additional cost.  When you register and pay for 3 nights, there is a place on the registration form to indicate your interest in adding the additional night.  

Cabins - 4 nights - Arrive: Thursday 5/26/2022, Depart: Monday 5/30/2022

Cabin rentals required a 4 night minimum.  You may stay 3 (or fewer) nights, however the cost is the same.

These are nice state park campsites - with ELECTRICITY and WATER! 

Singlefaith's campsites are on "LOOP B" and there is a nice bathhouse with showers for a small fee.

Cabins are 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a living room and kitchen.  You must bring your own linens and towels.

Payment in full must be made to confirm your reservation.  

Tent camping:  $79.00 Per Tent - yes, PER TENT (read below) for 3 nights

Plan to bring your own camping equipment and food.

There are 24 tent spots available.

Possible Thursday night arrival for an additional $25.00 per tent cost.  Indicate your interest on the registration form, this has not yet been confirmed.  

Cabins:  

Queen bed in a single occupancy room and shared bathroom:  $259.00 per person

Twin bed in a double occupancy room with two twin beds and shared bathroom:  $179.00 per person

Plan to bring your own bed linens and towels and food. 

There are 5 queen bed spots available and 10 twin bed spots available.  Singlefaith has rented 5 two-bedroom cabins. 

Cabin reservations required a 4 night minimum, therefore arrival is on 5/26/2022, departure on 5/30/2022.  You may stay fewer nights, but there is no discounted cost for staying less than 4 nights. 

The double occupancy room has two bunk beds.  So that three people are in a cabin maximum, we will not be offering any space in the top bunks, only space in the lower bunks.   

Additional details on the pricing: 

Tent camping is priced PER TENT.  There may be more than one person sharing a tent with a maximum of 6 persons per campsite.   Campsites are on "LOOP B".

Campsites have a 2 tent maximum.   Campsites also have a 2 vehicle maximum.   Additional vehicle parking away from the campsite is available for $10.00 per day (paid directly to the state park upon arrival).

Singlefaith has 13 campsites.  One campsite will be the "gathering spot" and will not have tent space. 

Of the 12 remaining campsites, 3 campsites have extra large tent pads and can accommodate tents larger than 10x10.  

9 campsites can only accommodate 2 tents each which are 10x10 or smaller. 

When you register and pay, you will be asked to indicate the size of your tent and how many people will occupy your tent. 

Note this about men and women on the same campsite or in the same cabin:

Depending on the number of men and women paying for a spot in a cabin, there may be a woman in the queen bedroom and two men in the two twins in the double occupancy bedroom, or vice-versa.  The bathroom will be shared.

Also, depending on the number of men and women paying for a tent space on a tent pad allowing 2 tents per campsite, an opposite gender individual may be sharing the campsite with you in their separate tent. 

We will try to avoid this and have all women or all men campsites, and all women or all men cabins, but it may not be possible.   If you want to share a campsite with an opposite gender individual, that is okay.  

When you register, you will be asked to list the name(s) of specific individuals you want on the same campsite you are on.

Cancellation Policy:   cancellation requests must be sent in writing by email to info@singlefaith.org

Tent camping:  

If you cancel prior to Thursday 4/28/2022, you will be refunded all but $29.00.

After 4/28/2022, no refund.

Cabin camping: 

If you cancel prior to Thursday 4/28/2022, you will be refunded all but $79.00 for either single or double occupancy. 

After 4/28/2022, no refund. 

After 4/28/2022, exceptions to this refund policy may be made by Michelle Lynch on a case-by-case basis, especially if there is a waiting list and your spot can be immediately resold.
