Your parking/entrance fees to Fort Smallwood are included in the ticket for this event.

FOOD and BEVERAGES

Throughout the day, Singlefaith will be providing burgers, hotdogs, and chicken breast grilled over hot

charcoal by our very own “Grillmaster” Mike Sweeney!

Additional food will be “Pot Luck” so bring your favorite picnic side dish, dessert or tasty treat.

Need ideas on what to bring?

Think about potato or pasta salad, coleslaw, assorted vegetables and dip,

tortilla chips and salsa, cookies, brownies, fruit salad, pre-cut watermelon or any other delicious

summertime favorites.

Please bring your own cooler and ice with beverages for yourself or to share with the group.

Singlefaith will have limited bottled water available.

GAMES

We’d love it if you would bring some games to play. Cornhole and frisbee were big hits last year. Uno,

Skip Bo or a standard deck of cards also offer many opportunities to foster some friendly competition

and lots of laughs.

SEATING

The Cedar Pavilion has some picnic tables available for seating. If you would feel more comfortable,

please bring your own chair.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed to help with set up, grilling, parking, check in table and breakdown.

Please check the “I would like to help” button when you make your ticket purchase and we will reach out

to you as the event gets closer.

Singlefaith appreciates your willingness to donate 30-60 minutes of your time during the day to help make this event a success!

ABOUT THE PARK

Fort Smallwood Park’s recreational amenities include a 380-foot fishing pier, children’s playground,

historic gun battery and barracks, walking trails, beaches and pond. Fort Smallwood was a seacoast

defense built in the late 1880's to the early part of the 1900's. The fort was in use from 1890 until 1927.

The 380-foot Bill Burton Fishing Pier is wonderful for fishermen, birdwatchers, and admirers of local

scenery.
